How It Works
PhronexusAI is a cross-promotion network — SaaS businesses within the network promote each other reciprocally, instead of paid ads. It exists for one purpose: to give your SaaS business real exposure to a warm, complementary audience — with no ad budget, and never exposing you to your own competitors. This page describes the exact mechanism, formulas, and logic — not general marketing talk.
Try Free →During signup, your business's category and subcategory are stored. Every time the system chooses who shows on your page, businesses in your category are automatically excluded — before any other calculation even begins. Plus, you have extra control: you can exclude any other category you're not interested in.
Step 1 — before anything else
This is the first decision, made before any other calculation. Every time someone visits your page, the system decides which of the 2 pools this specific impression falls into.
You set the ratio yourself (e.g. 70% Auction / 30% Balance) from your dashboard. The system follows that exact ratio, generation after generation.
Let the platform decide for itself — based on which ratio (Auction/Balance) has historically brought the most conversions specifically for you, adjusting the ratio over time.
Step 2A — if it falls to the Auction
When you sign up, AI compares your business's description/category with every other business of the same type (B2B↔B2B, B2C↔B2C; B2B2C connects with everyone). For every pair, a numeric score is stored — how complementary the audiences are.
Exact formula: impressions given ÷ RATE + conversions. RATE varies by type — 175 for B2B, 320 for B2C, 248 for B2B2C. Every verified conversion adds 1 point directly.
If you're among the top 3 combinations by AI score for an advertiser, you get an initial "boost" — only when AI points are between 20–320. The boost is subtracted automatically from your profile points — the more active you become, the faster it fades on its own.
Total weight = AI Score + Profile Points + Boost (if applicable)
Win probability = your weight ÷ the sum of weights of all qualifying candidates (weighted lottery, not a fixed ranking).
Step 2B — if it falls to Balance
Unlike the Auction (weighted lottery), Balance doesn't use randomness — it's a deterministic decision, based on deficit.
For each candidate: impressions given − impressions received (from the Balance pool only). Whoever has given more than they've received has a positive deficit.
If only 1 candidate has the maximum deficit, they win immediately — no further calculation. This is the most common case.
If 2+ candidates tie on deficit, the one with the higher AI (matching) score wins. If that also ties (rare), the choice is made randomly.
Step 3 — after the winning business
Here's another, separate decision from Step 1 — once the winning business is determined (from either the Auction or Balance), if they have 2 or more active ads, which one specifically to show must be decided.
Gets automatic rotating priority — every new ad goes through a "data collection" phase before real performance starts deciding.
Weighted lottery based on performance scores (views+conversions) of each — not a fixed 50/50, the higher-performing one has better odds, but no guarantee.
The same weighted-lottery logic extends across all ads at once — each participates proportionally to its own score, regardless of the total count.
Add one line of code to your page. This does two things at once: enters your business into the auction pool, and opens the real space where an ad shows. Takes up zero space when there's no ad to display.
Three formats: image, video (YouTube link), or interactive HTML5. Upload your own, or let AI create it from scratch based on your business description.
Set up conversion tracking (confirmation URL, button snippet, or global) and see everything on your dashboard: impressions given/received, per-ad performance, verified conversions.
The more exposure/conversions you give, the higher you naturally rank in the auction — and your competitors never show, in either pool.
